Hello Golf Enthusiasts,

The University of Idaho Golf Course is once again offering a hands on instructional program for golfers with little or no experience-"Get Golf Ready in 5 Days". The Get Golf Ready program consists of a series of five introductory lessons conducted by PGA/LPGA Professionals in a small-group environment for the affordable price of $99. By participating in this class, discounts on season passes, golf equipment and merchandise will be extended to you to encourage your pursuit of the game of golf.

The first session begins May 24 at 5 pm and continues May 25, 26, June 1 and 2. The second session runs June 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16. Classes start at 5 pm and end at 6:30 pm. Additional classes can be organized by contacting the Pro Shop. Gather 5 friends or more and schedule you own "Get Golf Ready in 5 Days" class.

This program is a wonderful opportunity for you, your family, friends or business colleagues to learn the game of golf or build upon existing skills. The five lessons featured in the Get Golf Ready program will provide basic skills instruction as well as information regarding the background of the game's rules, etiquette and values. Significant on-course learning opportunities will also be a part of each lesson. Participants will gain insight into techniques regarding chipping, putting, full swing, half swing and bunker play as well as the fundamental guidelines regarding the use and maintenance of golf equipment, keeping score and navigating the course.
