Tools of the Trade


Doug will use a variety of teaching aids to assist the students' understanding in what they are trying to accomplish with the golf club. A couple favorites are Video analysis and the impact bag. Video Analysis is a great tool in assuring that the student get a chance to see what Doug is seeing so that he or she is fully committed to the swing changes and lesson plan.

The impact bag is an indispensable training device that helps reinforce the sensation of a proper impact position. Impact is all about the swing path, angle of attack and the clubface position. The impact bag helps blend these three factors together quickly and helps the student feel a properly executed golf shot where the ball compresses on the clubface, halleluiah!
